The deal is to post just 3 sentences to capture the imagination. Today I'm offering another 3 from book 1 in my Victorian polyamorous love story ~ Loving Leonardo.
Setting the Stage:
Nicolas Halstead has just received a marriage proposal from a woman who is well aware of his predilections. Of his sexual orientation, she explains why it wouldn't matter if they married. Needless to say, he's confused. But after listening to her reasoning, Nicolas realizes she makes perfect sense. It would certainly end society's speculations.
My Three:
I couldn’t fault her logic. “So, what do you propose Miss Schwaab, blackmail?” Though my obvious concern wasn’t humorous in the least, she laughed merrily.
An award winning love story.
An adventure with more to come!

Now I want to know what the heck her reasoning is! Tease!
ReplyDeleteHmm. The lady clearly has an open mind, and I don't think blackmail is on her agenda at all. Intriguing snippet.
